As an art director, I have commissioned a variety of editorial illustrations, both print and digital for The Knot, Byrdie, and Brides.  As part of this process, I researched and coordinated outreach to illustrators, wrote creative briefs, and managed those projects from ideation to sketches to completion. One of the projects I am most proud of at The Knot was the Cultural Collections projects that I originated with a small group, we wanted to celebrate the cultural content we create year round and commission more POV pieces and visuals to accompany. My role was commissioning the illustrations from folks within the cultural communities we are highlighting as seen below.
